Judo, wrestling, sambo and Georgian wrestling (chidaoba)
By 30 October, no international tournament in these sports had been published in Georgia for November or December. Federations often announce national championships and club tournaments late, so keep an eye on:
- Judo: the Georgian Judo Federation’s pages, plus the IJF and EJU calendars.
- Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling: the Georgian National Wrestling Federation’s pages and the UWW calendar.
- Sambo: the Georgian Sambo Federation’s pages and the FIAS calendar.
- Georgian wrestling (chidaoba): the National Federation of Georgian Wrestling’s pages.
Before you register
- Check the rules, your age and belt division, and the gi/no-gi conditions on the official page.
- Note the deadlines: early registration is often cheaper.
- If you compete in the gi, your gi has to meet the tournament’s rules. The basics are in our gi guide.
- First competition? Ask your coach which tournament and division suit you.
This calendar is updated every month. See all scheduled events on our Competitions page.
